Gor Mahia continued their preparations for the 2019/2020 Kenya Premier league (KPL) season with various signings.
Today, the reigning KPL champions signed two players-goalkeeper David Robert Mapigano and Dickson Ambundo to increase their chances of defending the title as well as winning their 19th title.
Mapigano was signed from Tanzanian Premier League side Singida United and Alliance FC winger Ambundo the earlier signed players like Elvis Ronack (Nzoia Sugar), Tobias Otieno, Abadalla Shura (Sony Sugar), Dennis Oalo and Curtis Wekesa (Nairobi Stima).
Earlier, Alphonce Omija (central defender), Caleb Omondi (goalkeeper) and Samuel Osoo (striker) were handed senior team contracts after flourishing in the Gor Mahia Youth Team.
The club has also signed Patrick Odhiambo from Sony Sugar FC to serve as coach Hassan Oktay’s assistant.
