Kenya Premier League champion Gor Mahia will be battling off with USM Alger in the Caf Champions League opening leg at the Stade Mustapha Tchaker in Blida tomorrow.
Under new coach Steven Polack, the team left the country on Friday evening ahead of the Sunday encounter away.
The match will renew their rivalry when they played to a barren draw with USM Alger at the group stage of last year’s Champions League before losing 2-1 away.
To make to the second stage, Mahia won 5-1 aggregate against Aigle Noir 5-1 while their opponents beat SONIDEP of Niger 3-1 on aggregate.
Gor will host the second leg on 29th September.
