Gor, Nzoia, Tusker emerge as the winners

Kenya Premier League Defending champions Gor Mahia, former champions Nzoia Sugar and Tusker FC all won their matches in today’s FKF prmier League matches.

The champions came from a goal down to edge out their hosts Bandari FC 1-3 at the Mbaraki stadium with Jules Ulimwengu netting a brace and Nicholas Kipkirui sealing the victory.

Bernard Odhaimbo scored first for Bandari before the champions recovered well to win away.

Following the win, Gor moves to 6th position from eught matches and 15 points while the dockers drop to 8th position from 10 matches on 13 points.

Substitute Luke Namanda scored the solitary goal as former champions Tusker defeated former Champions Mathare United at the Kasarani Annex in Nairobi on Sunday to storm the summit of the Football Kenya.

The 78th minute goal sealed the top position on 23 points from ten matches played as Mathare remained second from bottom on the log with four points.

At Sudi stadium, Nzoia Sugar defeated the visiting Zoo Kericho 2-1 to move into 10th position from 10 matches with 11 points while Zoo remained in the bottom position with 2 points from 6 matches.
