Gor Mahia defeated Nairobi City Stars to reclaim the Kenya Premier League title for the 20th time to edge out defending champions Tusker who beat relegated side Vihiga Bullets
The Kasarani stadium encounter was good for Gor who won 4-1 after Samuel Kapen scored first for Stars in the 48th minute but Benson Omalla leveled for the champions while in the 50th minute before Peter Lwasa, Austin Odhiambo and Alpha Onyango added a goal each to seal the victory.
In Mumias, Tusker were 4-0 winners over Bullets with goals from Ugandan Deogratious Ojok, Shami Mwinyi, and a brace from Stewart Omondi in the 84th and 86th.
