The government has ordered the closure of all golf clubs across the country in their way to combat the deadly coronavirus.
In the daily briefing, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced that all golf clubs should be closed.
You are aware that is not a secret that even in golf clubs, golf clubs have been abused, consequently, all golf clubs must be closed with immediate effect,” said Kagwe.
However, he said that golfers are free to walk by keeping distances but they will no caddies to accompany golfers and at the golf club.
“In this particular case, it is actually the reverse. The members who will eventually pass the virus to the caddies and therefore golf clubs you will remain closed and clubhouses will remain closed,” addressed Kagwe
