Former champions General Service Unite (GSU) defeated Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) to win the Kenya Volleyball federation (KVF) men’s title during the final today at the Kasarani Gymnasium.
The Gideon tarus side GSU managed to win 2 out of 3 legs to be crowned the champions during the three day encounters. In round one on Friday, GSU managed to win in straight sets of 25-15, 25-22 and 30-28 to have one step for the title but James Ontare’s KPA changed the script winning the second leg yesterday at 3-1(25-23,23-25,25-16,25-19) forcing the match into day three today with GSU winning 3-0 at 25-19, 25-11 and 25-22.
