Champions General Service Unit (GSU) Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) registered wins in Saturday’s men’s Kenya Volleyball Federation National League at the Nyayo Stadium indoor arena.
GSU, who beat Vihiga County 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-20), have already qualified into the play-offs alongside Kenya Prisons and Keya Ports Authority (KPA) will be seeking to defend their title.
KDF win has increased their chances of qualifying into the playing-offs after beating Equity Bank in straight sets of 25-18, 28-26 and 25-22.
The soldiers alongside Equity and Kenya Forest Service (KFS) are chasing for the play-off slots.
In other matches, KFS were 3-1 (25-16, 25-20,20-25,25-23) winners against Administration Police (AP) as Western Prisons defeated Equity Bank 3-0 (25-21,25-22,25-20), and Mombasa Prisons stunned Western Prisons 3-0 (25-17,25-21,25-20)
