Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) men champions General Service Unit (GSU), KVF finalists Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), Kenya Defence Forces and Kenya Prisons have qualified to compete at the semifinals of the inaugural Kenya Cup.
KPA edged out Trailblazers 3-0 in the quarterfinals to make it to the semis with a score of 25-16, 25-18, and 25-20.
Coached by James Ontere, the Mombasa based club will be in action come next weekend at the Kasarani stadium.
KDF also qualified into the semis following their3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 25-17, and 25-20) win over Administration Police (A.P).
Ever green GSU were 3-1 winners against KAPU in 28-26, 26-28, 25-15, 25-17 while Kenya Prisons beat Equity 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, and 25-23).
Both men’s and women’s semifinals and finals of the Kenya Cup are set for next weekend, July 12 and 13.
