Bungoma County who made their maiden appearance at the kenya Volleyball Federation play-off, will begin their maiden title chase against reigning champions Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC)at Moi Sports Centre Kasarani.
The County team finished third in the KVF league behind champions KPC and Prison Kenya and ahead of Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in women’s category.
With the fixture released, the top of the table team will play third place while second finisher will play 4th team in both men and women categories.
In their opening match, Bungoma County will play KPC before playing their second match against Prison Kenya and end their match against Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB).
Champions will be seeking to defend their title against Bungoma, face KCB and end with their perennial rivals Prison Kenya.
They edged out then Western Bombers 3-0 (25-12, 25-14 and 25-10) to lift the title.
In men’s category, defending champions General Service Unit (GSU) will start title defence against Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) followed by Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and end the play off against Prison Kenya.
