General Service Unit (GSU) and Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) were crowned the champions of Nandi County Governor’s volleyball Cup that came to an end today at the Kapsabet Showground in Nandi County.
The reigning Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) league champions, GSU retained the title they won in 2019 after 2020 event was shelved due to the coronavirus pandemic. The red berets defeated former KVF champions Kenya Prisons to win the men’s title after winning in straight sets of 25-17, 35-33 and 25-22 to win the men’s title.
In women, KPC defeated then champions Kenya Prisons to win the title in a five-setter encounter for the title in 3-2
Self Supporting titles were won by Kahawa after beating Lelmokwo high school in straight sets.
National school finalists Kesogon defeated Lugulu in straight sets to win the girls school category while Namwela secondary were 3:0 winners over New Light.
In primary school section, national champions Soi Primary beat Mukuyuni 3:2 for the title.
