As part of their preparations to face The Gambia for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) qualifier, Kenya’s Harambee Starlets will be facing off with Ivory Coast in a friendly encounter before the qualifier.
The friendly matches have been set for April 4th and the return leg on April 8th at the Felix Houphouet Bogny Stadium according to Federation of Ivorian Football (FIF).
After the friendlies, Starlets will be facing off with The Gambia in the final round of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) qualifier in September.
Starlets beat Tunisia by a solitary goal with a 1-0 aggregate to qualify into the third round of qualifiers.
Ivory Coast remains on top of Kenya in FIFA Ranking at 71st globally and 6th on the continent.
