Harambee Stars opening loss at #AFCON2019

Baghdad Bounedjah and Riyad Mahrez scored a goal each as Algeria defeated Kenya in the pool C match at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.

Bounedjah converted a penalty to give the Desert Foxes the lead in the 18^th minute before Mahrez, the Manchester City striker doubled in the 38^th minute to ensure they secure maximum points.

In the earlier pool C encounter, Africa’s number one Senegal registered the same score against Tanzaniawith goals from Inter Milan strike Keita Balde and Krepin Diatta either side.
