Goncalo Ramos bagged a hat trick as Portugal thrashed Switzerland at the Fifa World Cup in Doha, Qatar.
The Lusail stadium encounter belonged to Portugal after beating Switzerland 5-1 to qualify into the quarterfinal and will be facing off with Morocco who beat Spain in post match penalties in the first match today.
Ramos opened the score in the 17th minute before Pepe doubled in the 33rd minute for a 2-0 up Portugal into break.
On resumption, Ramos scored the third goal and his second in the 51st minute as Raphael Guerreiro made it 4-0 in the 55th minute as Manuel Akanji scored a consolation three minutes later for a 4-1 lead but Ramos bagged a hat trick in the 67th minute for a 5-1 the substitute Rafail Leao scored in the 90+2 for a 6-1 win.
