Harambee Stars Captain Michael Olunga bagged a hatrick when his side Al Duhail beat Qatar SC in the Qatars Stars league opener yesterday.
Olunga scored 3 out of their 6-1 win at home to start the season on a high note when he netted the first in the 41st minute, added the second in the 44th minute as Ben Malango scored for the losers in the 64th minute for a 2-1 lead as Ismail Muhamad scored Al Duhail for 3-1.
Mohamad scored a brace, the 5th for the winners and Olunga sealed the hattrick with the 6-1 win.
Olunga won the golden boot award in 2021-22 and 2022-23 and his bright start suggests he is keen to reclaim the top scorer’s gong
