Arsonists, the Moi University rugby team have one chance to qualify to the quarterfinals of the ongoing Varsity 15s league on Saturday.
The Eldoret based university will be taking Cooperative University in a must win match in their last pool D encounter at their background.
Head coach Ali Mbara is optimistic that they will take home advantage to secure victory to move from third position to second since two teams from the pool make it to the quarters.
Other pool D matches at the same venue leaders Kisii on 10 points will play bottom placed Multimedia.
“There is no room to make any blunder in this game. This is a must win. Any loss means that we are out of the league which is good for nurturing talents in the university. It is an opportunity that has been presented to us in the best way,” said Mbaraka.
Pool C leaders Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) will be taking on Meru University while second placed University of Nairobi side Mean machine battle with bottom placed Kabarak University.
