Homeboyz face Tusker at FKF Cup final with victory against Leopards and Ulinzi

Re-energized Kakamega Homeboyz and former champions Tusker will face off at the finals of Football Kenya federation (FKF) Cup finals set for July 1st.

Homeboyz ended the journey of former champions AFC Leopards during todsay’s semifinal match at the Nyayo stadium in the second match after Tusker beating Ulinzi Stars at the same venue in the earlier match.

Leopards, who last won the title in 2018, lost 2-1 to the resurgent where the winner will represent Kenya in the CAF Confederations Cup next season.

Moses Shummah and Kevin Amwayi scored for the winners who will be chasing the title for the first time while leopards scored a consolation through substitute Cliff Nyakeya.

Tusker, who are chasing a double this season, defeated Ulinzi Stars 1-0 with the solitary goal scored by substitute Erick Otieno.
