Homeboyz, Nzoia, Bandari and Rangers win

Leaders Kakamega Homeboyz maintained their top position after beating former champions Ulinzi Stars in today’s kenya Premier league match played at the Thika Stadium.

As Bandari and Posta Rangers defeated their opponents in other matches of the day.

Brian Eshihanda scored the only goal when Homeboyz collected maximum points away to take control of the table with 49 points opening an eight-point gap against second placed Tusker.

The win was a motivation for Benard Mwalala side who had lost 2-1 to Bandari over the weekend at the Mbaraki stadium while Ulinzi’s Benjamin Nyangweso conceded the defeat.

At Kasarani, Posta Rangers came from 2-0 down to beat 2008 champions Mathare United. Kennedy Ochieng and Donald Ange scored for Mathare for 2-0 lead before Timothy Otieno, Jackson Dwang and Brian Otieno were on target for Rangers.

At Bukhungu stadium, nzoia Sugar were 1-0 winners over newbies Vihiga Bullets.

At Mbaraki stadium, Bandari were 1-0 winners against Nairobi City Stars with a solitary goal scored by Salim Abdalla.
