Sammy Kibwana scored first for Homeboyz before Nicholas Kipkurui leveled but Ali Bai sealed the victory for the hosts.
At Machakos stadium, 2009 champions Sofapaka thrashed Nzoia Sugar 4-1 to collect all points. David Simiyu, Elli Asieche, Titus Achesa and George Maelo scored a goal apiece for Sofapaka as Boris Kwezi scored a consolation for sugar millers.
John Mark Makwata scored a brace as AFC Leopards revenged against Wazito who snatched two of their players in a 2-0 win.
