Hosts Egypt silence Kenya at Africa Hockey Championships

Egypt came from a goal down to beat Kenya 2-1 at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) Hockey championships in Ismailia in Egypt on Saturday October 11^th 2025.

Kenya scored first through Bethuel Masambu for Kenya’s Chui team in the 9^th minute but in the dying minuters, goals from Hossameldin Ragab in the 12^th minute and Mostafa Ragab handed the hosts a 2-1 win.

Tomorrow, Kenya will face defending champions South Africa, while Egypt will host Nigeria
