Gor Mahia captain Kenneth Muguna is set to leave the Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions.
He said there was a breakdown of communication between him and the club leadership as the reason for leaving K’Ogalo before the expiry of his contract in June next year.
Muguna joined Gor Mahia in 2017 after winning the Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year Award for the previous season while playing for Western Stima.
He left to join FK Tirana of Albania in 2018 before returning back to the club the same year.
He took over the captaincy at the club in August 2019 after the exit of veteran defender Harun Shakava, who joined Nkana of Zambia
