Jaguars bounce back to beat Police as Mvita shine over Kisumu in Kenya Hockey leagues

Western Jaguars redeemed their image by beating former champions kenya Police in today’s Kenya Hockey Union Premier League match at the City Park Stadium.

After losing 3-0 to Sailors on Saturday, Jaguars redeemed themselves to beat Kenya Police 2-1 today to register their first win when Derrick Juma scored first and Bethwel Masambu scoring the winner after Titus Kimutai netted a consolation in between.

Next, Jaguars will welcome Wazalendo and United States International University Usiu-A Mashujaa in Kakamega this weekend.

In super league, Mvita X1 defeated Kisumu Youngsters 1-0 with the sole goal scored by Amos Wangwera. It was th second loss for Kisumu after going down 2-1 to Sikh Union on Saturday as Mvita drew 1-1 against Nakuru.
