Javelin Anyango ready for Youth Commonwealth Games battle

The Africa under 20 javelin bronze medalist Caroline Anyango will seeking to win her first medalist outside Africa when she will be lining up at the Youth Commonwealth Games set Trinidad and Tobago from 4-11 of August.

After winning the bronze medal in Lusaka Zambia After a remarkable performance at the Africa Junior Championships in Zambia, where she clinched the bronze medal, Caroline, the young javelin sensation, is now gearing up for her next challenge  at the upcoming Commonwealth Youth Games.

 The rising star has been training at the Kasarani Stadium for the past two weeks, and has shown remarkable progress in her throws, improving from an impressive 42 meters to 48 meters.

Caroline’s dedication and determination have been fueled by the inspiration she draws from none other than the javelin legend, Juliius Yego. During her training sessions, Yego has  shared invaluable tips and techniques, igniting Caroline’s passion for the sport even further.

“I am incredibly honored to have the opportunity to learn from someone as accomplished as Juliius Yego. His guidance and mentorship have been instrumental in refining my skills and honing my technique,” Caroline expressed with enthusiasm.

With her sights set on the Commonwealth Youth Games, Caroline aspires to improve on her previous performance and etch her name in the annals of sporting history. The young athlete dreams of one day breaking a world record, a feat that seems more attainable with her boundless potential and the expert guidance of her mentor.
