Reigning Boston marathon champion John Korir has confident that team Kenya will shine at the next month’s World Athletics Championships set for Tokyo, Japan.
Korir, who has dominated many road races across the world said that Athletics Kenya selected a formidable team ready to compete for the world set to start on September 13th to September 21st in the Japanese Capital.
“We have the best athletes that were selected bt the federation on merit during national trials. I have hope that they will perform well, come home with medals,” said Korir.
