Julius Yego retain Africa Games title

Former world javelin champion Julius Yego retained his All Africa Games javelin title in the penultimate of the games in Rabat, Morocco.

The 2015 world champion through 87:73m to easily win gold for Kenya on Friday beating his close rival Alexander Kiprotich by 10m.

The 2014 Commonwealth Games champion gold took the number of gold medals on Friday alone to seven and 10 overall as the games come to an end today in the North African nation.

Popularly called Youtube, Yego also won silver at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as well as gold in 2011 All Africa Games in Maputo.

He has many accolades that include 2012 winner of Africa championships in Port Novo, Benin, 2014 Marrakech, Asaba in Nigeria and bronze in 2010 in Kenya.
