Former world javelin champion Julius Yego failed to reclaim the world title after losing out at the ongoing World Athletics championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The former javelin Commonwealth Games champion bid farewell to the championships after he threw 78.42m at the qualifiers to the final after Neeraj Chopra led with a season-best throw of 88.77. Germany’s Julian Weber occupied the second slot as another, Indian DP Manu, placed fourth.
