Kabras, Nondescripts to face Oilers, Pirates at Enterprise Cup semifinals

Holders Kabras Sugar will be facing off with their cousins Menengai Oilers at the Enterprise Cup Semifinals following the conclusion of cross border quarterfinals played yesterday in Uganda and Kenya.

In the cross border encounter, that featured Kenyan and Ugandan teams, Kenya will be represented by three teams with Uganda having one.

The defending champions Kabras for the second year in a row will take on Oilers with the former edging out Oilers to secure their fifth consecutive Enterprise Cup title.

Kabras qualified following their 61-19 thrashing of Uganda’s Heathens in a mtch played at the Royal Mutesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku, Uganda while Oilers beat Uganda’s Buffaloes 60-15 at the Nakuru ASK Showground.

As the only Ugandan team in the semis, Ugandan champions Black Pirates, who defeated former champions KCB RFC 11-10 will take on Nondescripts RFC that eliminated other Ugandan outfit Kobs 29–13 in Nakuru.
