Newly promoted side Kenya Police has signed Kenyan international Francis Kahata to beef up their squad to battle for the Kenya Premier League title.
Kahata, who has played for national team Harambee Stars for many years has joined a clique of many players at the club that include David Owino, Erick Juma, Godfrey Shiveka and Job Ochieng, John Mark Makwata, Duke Abuya, Clifton Miheso, Musa Mohamed and Duncan Otieno.
The talented midfielder, Kahata joins Police on a one year contract from Ethiopian side Sidama Cofee FC.
He only played for Sidama for nine months after leaving Tanzania giants Simba SC after leaving Gor Mahia.
