Kakamega Homeboyz edge Sofapaka as KCB, Nzoia Draw

Kakamega Homeboyz was the only team that collected maximum results in the 16th match of Kenya Premier league.

The Kakamega based club edged out 2009 champions Sofapaka in a match played at the Bukhungu stadium today with Alex Opuku scoring the solitary goal to collect all points.

At Sudi stadium in Bungoma, Nzoia Sugar played out to a one all draw against former champions Ulinzi Stars.

Joseph Njuguna scored first for Ulinzi but James Kibande leveled for the hosts for a 1-1 draw.

Bottom placed Zoo Kericho held second placed KCB to 1-1 draw at Utalii Grounds.

KCB went ahead through Derrick Otanga as Castro Likhanga slotted in an equalizer for Kericho team.
