Three time world half marathon champion Geoffrey Kamworor failed to hit a hat-trick after winning bronze at the world cross country championships held in Aarhus, Denmark.
Kamworor, the 2015 and 2017 world cross country champion fell behind Ugandans in the last race at Moesgaard Museum.
Kamworor clocked 31:55 behind Ugandan Commonwealth Games 10,000m champion Joshua Cheptegei (31:40) and former world cross country junior silver medalist Jacob Kiplimo in a 1-2 podium finish for Ugandans.
