Former World half marathon record holder Geoffrey Kamworor and cureent world half marathon record holder Peres Jepchirchir will lead other kenyas at the Istanbul Half marathon set for April 4th.
Kamworor (58:01) will be facing off with current world half marathon record holder Kibiwott Kandie (57:32) in men’s race alongside former Africa Cross country champion Leonard Barsoton (59:09) and Roncer Kipkorir (61:19) in the chase for the title.
In the women’s race, Jepchirchir will lead women’s field against world record marathon holder Brigid Kosgei and world marathon champion Ruth Chepngetich.
