Kamworor, Jepkorir to run at world half marathon hangs in a balance

Three-time world half-marathon champion Geoffrey Kamworor and other top Kenyan runners will be forced to adjust their programme after world half marathon championships were postponed courtesy of Coronavirus.

The world half marathon record holder was selected by Athletics Kenya to defend his title for the third time alongside 2020 Ras Al-Khaimah Half Marathon champion Kandie Kibiwott, 2017 World Cross Country Championships silver medallist Leonard Barsoton, Shadrack Kimining and 2020 Barcelona half marathon champion Victor Chumo.

Reigning Boston half marathon winner Brilliant Jepkorir will be leading 2018 world half marathon bronze medalist Pauline Kaveke, Barcelona half marathon bronze medalist Dorcas Kimeli, Africa 10,000m silver medalist Monica Wanjuhi and Dorcas Jepchirchir.
