Kenya Amateur Golf championships (KAGC) leader Micahel Karanga produced an impressive score of five par 65 to record victory at the inaugural Governor’s Pro-Am Cup played at the par 72 Malindi Golf and Country Club.
Coming from Kiambu golf club, the Strokeplay and Matchplay champion fired a total of one over par 141 in the two day tournament to seal the victory and remain unbeaten.
After finishing in position 8 in round one yesterday with six over par 76, the Ghana Open champion started off in round two on a high note with -5 65 to beat his club mate and round one joint leader Elvis Muigua to second.
