Karanga to lead amateurs at Mount Kenya Championships in Nyeri

Michael Karanga will lead other elite amateur golfers in the second leg of Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) series at the Mount Kenya Championships on par 71 Nyeri golf club.

Kiambu golfer Karanga, who won Sigona Bowl, the KAGC opener at Sigona will be battling in the 36 hole tournament on the nine hole course in search of points ahead of Magical Kenya Open.

This will be the first time that the new World Handicap System (WHS) will be used in the two day tournament that tees off on Saturday to Sunday.

He will be facing off with Kenya Amateur Stroke play champion Jay Sandhu of Royal, Match Play champion Isaac Makokha of vet Lab, Nyali’s Adel Balala, Mutahi Kibugu among others.
