Karen Challenge Trophy: Golfers resume to business this weekend

In less than a week after winning the 13th title of East Africa Challenge in Dar es Salaam Tanzania, amateur golfers will this weekend return to the Kenya Amateur Golfer Championships (KAGC) series at Karen Club for Karen Challenge Trophy.

The golfers drawn from various clubs will be taking on 54 hole Strokeplay, the 11th leg of the KAGC series that kick off on Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon.

Top learders in the series led by Limuru County club’s John Karichu and second placed Edwin Mudanyi of Vet lab, will be in action.

Others on the tee include Mike Kisia from Vet Lab, Royal Nairobi’s Dennis Saikwa and Kenneth Bollo and Kenya Amateur Matchplay champion Joseph Gathumbi together with Kenya Junior golfer Agil Is-Haq of Nyali and Railway’s Samuel Njoroge.
