Following their weekend win, champions KCB has maintained their top position in the Kenya Cup, the premier rugby league in the country.
Last Saturday, the bankers defeated Menengai Oilers 22-19 to maintain their top psotions after touching down six times while their ruvals Kabras Sugar lies second after playing five matches.
KCB have accumulated 28 poiints after winning all their six matches, leading the sugar millers who have also amassed 25 points after winning all their five matches.
Menengai Oilers will stay third on the Kenya Cup standings with 17 points. Impala Saracens also stay fourth with 11 points, they suffered the second loss of the season, going down 21-12 to MMUST Rugby.
Strathmore Leo’s second win of the season has propelled them to position five with 11 points. Nakuru and Kenya Harlequins drop to sixth and seventh respectively having lost to Kabras and Nondies on Saturday.
Mwamba and MMUST are tied on eight points and Blak Blad have dropped to 10th with Nondies staying bottom despite their first win of the season
