Leaders KCB, former Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions Sofapaka and Wazito FC recorded wins in the FKF Premier League match played at Dawson Mwanyumba sports ground.
Unbeaten KCB edged out newbies Bidco United 1-0 with a goal courtesy Regan Otieno in the 48th minute while Wazito handed the second loss to AFC Leopards with a 1-0 win with a goal from Kevin Kimani in the 20th minute as newly reinstated Zoo Kericho played to a one-all draw against Bandari.
But new signing Lawrence Juma netted a hat-trick as Sofapaka thrashed former champions Mathare United 4-2 at the Wundanyi sports ground.
Juma scored first in the 12th minute with Nixon Omondi scoring the 4th goal.
