East Africa 1500m gold medalist Judith Kemuto and Manesses Kiprotich romped to victory in 800m in the ongoing Rift Valley region Secondary School term one games at University of Eldoret pavilion.
Kemunto, who is also the national champion is hoping to defend her title in Mombasa next month after clocking 2.07.4 followed by Nancy Chepngetich (2.10.2) and Winnie Jepchumba was placed third clocking 2.12.8.

In 800m boys Manasseh Kiprotich emerged the winner after timing 1.50.6 as Antony Mutai followed closely clocking 1.51.8 while Kelvin Kipkogei timed 1.51.8 to close the top three
Vincent Langat was the winner in the 10,000m when he clocked 48.45.0 ahead of Caleb kipruto (48.47.0) and Elkana Langat’s 48.57.0 to close the podium.
In 3000m steeplechase girls,’ Mercy chepngeno clinched the title in 10.34.7 ahead of Sandra Chepchumba clocked 10.43.4, Brance Jebet Rotich was placed third timing 11.28.8. In 1500m girls Faith Chebet emerged the winner timed 4.25.3 ahead of Mercy chepngeno in second timing 4.26.6 ,Sheila Chepngeno came third clocking 4.30.5
