Kenya and Rwanda make it to World Para Volley Championship at Africa Para championships

Kenya and Rwanda got the tickets for the World Para Volley Champions slated for the USA in October after finishing first and second respectively at the Kasarani Indoor Arena.

Rwanda managed to beat hosts Kenya in straight sets of 16-25, 15-25 and 20-25 for the women title where only two nations competed in the women category.

Kenya, under the tutelage of Richard Kihatu booked the slot after Nigeria failed to show up for the 2025 African Para Volley Championship that served off today.

Kenya and Rwanda got the tickets for the World Champions since the top two teams in the championships had the guarantee of qualification.

Principal Secretary, State Department of Sports Elijah Mwangi presided over the opening ceremony for the games that brought together six countries for and two women.
