Kenya defeated Ghana to advance to the semifinals of the ongoing Davis Cup Africa Group 3 tournament in Cairo, Egypt.
Kenya registered their third pool B staright wins with a 3-0 win over Ghana with the pair of Ibrahim Kibet and Ismael Changawa beating Ghana’s pair of Benjamin Palm and Samuel Antwi in the Singles.
After the loss, Palm and Antwi forfeited the doubles match against Albert Njogu and Kibet handing Kenya an automatic victory.
On Saturday, Kenya will play against Benin while Egypt face Mozambique in the semi-finals at the same venue.
