While Kenya Cup action goes on a one week recess this weekend,several teams will use the weekend recess to clear their pending fixtures.
Nondescripts are set to host Resolution Impala Saracens in a fixture originally slated for Saturday 10 December while Menengai Cream Homeboyz will host Blak Blad, a tie that was originally set for Saturday 28 January. The venues and times will be communicated in a subsequent bulletin.
The Nationwide league will have action across the country. The Nairobi region sees Sportpesa Quins III taking on Comras at the RFUEA ground while their neighbours Impala III will host Masaku. Northern Suburbs’ match against Eastlanders will be at the KCB sports club and Makueni take on Ngong RFC at the Kibiko Secondary School in Ngong Town.
Central region Leaders Embu RFC are at home to Karatina University while Kiambu RFC will travel to Nanyuki to meet the Jackals at the Nanyuki Sports Club. An all varsity clash between Dedan Kimathi and Zetech takes place in Nyeri while Chuka Vikings make the journey to Murang’a to play Murang’a RFC.
Rift Valley region leaders Menengai Oilers play second placed Eldoret RFC in a top of the table clash at the Nakuru Athletic Club while third placed Eldoret Falcons make the journey to Njoro to duel fourth placed Egerton Wasps.
Other fixtures in the region on this day see Kericho host Kapsabet while Nakuru KITI are scheduled to placed KPA Eldoret at the Molo Grounds.
The Western Region will have two fixtures: Kakamega Welfare taking on Webuye RFC in a venue that is yet to be decided while Bungoma RFC host their regional leaders Masinde Muliro University.
All matches in the four regions will kick off at 3:00pm in their respective venues.
There will be two double headers in the Coast region. The match between Shoxxs RFC and Shepherds RFC kicks off at 2:00pm at the Wundanyi Stadium, paving the way for the Spartans -Coast Raiders clash at 4:00pm.
Taita Taveta University are up against the Pwani in the 2:00pm kickoff at the Malindi High School while hosts Malindi RFC play leaders Technical University of Mombasa match at 4:00pm.
