Kenya women hockey team will be opening the Commonwealth Games campaign against New Zealand in Birmingham.
Captained by Gilly Okumu, the team take on New Zealand tomorrow. Okumu who plays for Strathmore Scorpions in the Premier League lies in pool B New Zealand, Scotland, Australia and South Africa.
The Jaquiline Mwangi coached side take on the reigning champions New Zealand and five-time winners Australia in a pool of death.
Kenya tackle Australia on Saturday, Scotland on August 1 and South Africa a day later.
