Kenya Lionesses fall to champions South Africa at Africa Women Rugby

Kenya Lionesses lost their match against defending South Africa at the ongoing Rugby Africa Women’s Cup at the Stade Makis stadium in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The champions managed to beat Kenya 19-12, which was the first loss after Kenya beat hosts Madagascar 28-05 in the opening match.

The Springbok Women remains unbeaten in the competition since its inception in 2019 and dominated the first half to the final whistle.

Kenya now shift their attention to their final match of the tournament, a regional derby against East African rivals Uganda on Saturday, 14 June.
