Kenya Lionesses, the women’s national rugby fifteens squad will be taking on Madagascar in a two legged match at the Nyayo stadium.
The Kenyan queens will face off with Madagascar on Saturday July 3rd before playing the second Match on 11th July.
Kenya Lionesses are also expected to play their first test match since the World Cup qualifiers loss to final South Africa at Bosman Stadium on 17 August 2019.
Kenya and Madagascar last faced off at the 2019 Rugby Africa Women’s Cup on 9 August. Lionesses won the fixture 35-5.
After the clash, the winner (Kenya vs Columbia) was to join a repechage tournament which will have four teams: the second-placed teams from the regional tournaments of Asia and Europe, the winner of the play-off between the loser of the Oceania World Cup qualifying play-off and the winner of another play-off between the bottom-ranked teams in the same tournament.
