Kenyan athletes missed the opportunity to defend the World Cross Country mixed relay title in the first event of the day in Tallahassee, Florida in the United States of America (USA)
The qoutet of Reynold Cheruiyot, Winfred nzisna Mbithe, Kyumbe Munguti and Purity Chepkurui failed to defend the title won last year after finishing 4th overall behind champions Australia, France and Ethiopia who won gold, silver and bronze respectively.
