The match between Kenya Police and Al Hilal has been moved to Ulinzi Sports Complex, which had initially planned for Kasarani stadium.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) moved the Champions League first-leg match set for tomorrow scheduled to kick off from 3PM will be played behind closed doors due to security, safety and logistical reasons.
This is the second time the venue for the crucial clash is being relocated following the sudden demise of the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga yesterday in India.
Initially, the match was to be played at the Nyayo Stadium but was moved to Kasarani to pave way for the state funeral service of the late Odinga but later, Kasarani was rendered unplayable after the government moved the public body viewing ceremony for Odinga’s body to the facility after massive crowds made it impossible for the planned transfer to proceed as scheduled at the National Assembly.
