Kenya premier league 20222/2023 season is set to kick off next month.
The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Transition Committee through their head of secretariat Lindah Oguttu announced that the league will start on August 27 with the women’s competition starting the following week.
The league will resume the same week with the conclusion of transfer windows for both the men’s and women on August 31.
“The FKF Transition Committee hereby notifies all FKF Premier League and the FKF Women’s Premier League clubs for the 2022/2023 season and all the relevant stakeholders that the transfer window, which has been open since the end of the 2021/2022 season will close on August 31, 2022,” read a statement by Oguttu.
“The 2022/2023 season as earlier communicated is scheduled to kick off on August 27 and September 3 for the KPL and KWPL respectively.”
