Kenya recovered from Namibia loss to beat hosts Rwanda in the ongoing 7th edition of the Kwibuka Women’s Twenty20 International Tournament at Gahanga Stadium.
Namibia, which confirmed that they are Africa champions defeated Kenya in the semifinals tournament with a convincing 36-run win, Kenya recovered with a 25 runs with all teams sealing their semifinal berths a day earlier and this round robin fixture.
Rwanda and Kenya will be seeking a final slot with the winner progressing to the grand finale in the Gold Match whereas the loser must contend for a consolation prize in the third place playoff encounter for the bronze medal.
