Kenya, Senegal to battle for points in last #AFCON pool Match

Harambee Stars will be facing Senegal in their last pool C match tomorrow hoping to register good results to progress into the best 16 at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) football tournament in Cairo, Egypt.

Head coach Sebastien Migen said the clash at the 30 June Stadium against the Teranga Lions will not be easy for kenya.

He said: “Senegal have never won the Africa Cup of Nations title. But if you look at them, they have quality. They have always been at the same level as Cameroon, Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire and Egypt but they have never won the title. Is it that they do not have the mental strength? I do not know.”

Kenya and Senegal, who have three points, need to win to advance to the next round of the tournament.

The match kicks off at 9pm local time (10pm Kenyan time).
