Kenya won their second match to match into the quater-final in the ongoing Copa Coca Cola Under 16 Africa Cup of Nations in Nakuru.
St Anthony high school, which is representing the country at the inaugural championships, made an easy win for the hosts who defeated Botswana 3-0 in their second match at the Nakuru High grounds today to add on their 11-1 win obn Monday against Ethiopia to top pool A.
Issa Rashid of St. Anthony’s Kitale broke the deadlock in their first minute before Answar Shamuni adding the second on the 33rd minute.
The skilfull Kenyan side wrapped up the match in the dying minutes when substitute Isaiah Aswal volleyed in from a well taken conrner kick by Wisdom Nayah.
The top two teams in the four pools will qualify for the last eight. Twelve teams are taking part in the week-long inaugural tournament.
