Kenya will be taking on Somalia in their final pool A match at the ongoing Cecafa U18 Boys Championships that will be staged at the Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega County.
The Kenya’s Junior Stars, who are leading the pool with six points from two wins will be seeking to maintain their top position even after qualifying into the semifinals.
The Salim Babu side defeated Sudan 5-0 in the opening match before winning by a solitary goal to Rwanda at the Kenyatta Stadium, Kisumu.
Kenya need a win to top the group while Somalia need a win and hope that Rwanda fall or draw against Sudan to book a slot in the last four. The game will be played at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
Captained by Amos Wanjala is full of confidence ahead of the tie.
In other pool match, Rwanda will face bottom-of-the-table Sudan in the other last Group ‘A’ game at Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium in Kisumu.
After pool A matches tomorrow, pool B, which has South Sudan, Tanzania, Zanzibar, and Uganda have scored the same number of goals and conceded the same number of goals too will be facing off on Saturday.
South Sudan take on Uganda at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Kisumu then Tanzania face Zanzibar at Bukhungu.
The semi-finals will be played on Tuesday in Kisumu while the third-place play-off and final are set for Friday in Kisumu.
